Since its establishment, the center has given full play to its own advantages, relying on the Second Design Institute and promoting horizontal collaboration within the Architectural Design Institute, and has successively completed steel structure design and consulting tasks for several large-scale projects. The main representative projects are as follows: National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) Project
Project location : Tianjin Building area : 1.352 million square meters Structural system : The standard exhibition hall of this project is a single-story large-span steel structure. The total length of each exhibition hall is 186m, the span is about 84m, and the roof structure height is 23.28m. Every two exhibition halls are merged into one roof structure unit. The size is 186.36m×159.7m, and it adopts a structural system of steel columns and steel trusses. The central hall is a large-span steel structure supported by tree-shaped steel columns, with a column spacing of 36 or 39m, a total structure height of 32.0m, and a total roof size of 141.3m×285.3m. The roof of the traffic corridor connecting the exhibition halls is a large-span steel structure with a roof structure height of 23.28m. The total size of each roof structure unit is 186.36m×73.9m. It adopts a structural system of steel columns and steel trusses consistent with the appearance of the exhibition hall. Project location : Haikou Building area : 280,000 square meters Structural system : The lower part of the project is a steel frame. The roof adopts a combination of single-layer reticulated shell and double-layer reticulated shell. The short axis span of the ellipsoidal single-layer reticulated shell in the tropical rainforest area is about 80 meters and the long axis span is about 110 meters. The roof cantilever at the main and secondary entrances is about 22 meters, and the steel column supporting the roof at the main entrance is 32 meters high. Project location : Mauritius Building area : 10,000 square meters Structural system : This project is the main venue of the 2019 Indian Ocean Islands Games. The stadium roof is composed of single-span trusses with overhangs on both sides of the 16th floor. The span of the truss is 21m, the west cantilever 15m, and the east cantilever 19m. The comprehensive gymnasium has a span of 60m, with 12 trusses and steel columns on both sides rigidly connected to form a transverse rigid frame into the main structure. Project location : Beijing Building area : 86,000 square meters Structural system : This project has 2 floors underground and 2 floors above ground. The structural plane length (east-west direction) is about 180m, the total width (north-south direction) is about 167m, the maximum elevation of the roof is 11.7m, and the overall height of the building is about 23.0m. Due to the functional requirements of the building, there are large-span spaces such as ice hockey rink (35.1m), swimming pool (35.1m) and basketball hall (45.4m) on the 2nd floor underground. Project location : Hangzhou Building area : 800,000 square meters Structural system : The exhibition hall and the central corridor of this project are both large-span structures. In order to make rational use of space, ensure the net height of the building, and realize the architectural roof modeling requirements of elegant fan silk rhythm, the roof of the exhibition hall adopts a steel truss system with a span of 80m; the central corridor The road adopts a tree-shaped column steel truss system. Project location : Beijing Building area : 30,000 square meters Structural system : The project is about 220m long, 32m wide, three floors above ground, and the large roof structure elevation is 17.900m, 20.250, and 21.725m. The small elliptical roof adopts flat truss covered steel truss floor deck, and the rest of the floor adopts solid Web steel beam + reinforced truss floor deck, with a 200mm wide structural seam in the middle, the left side structure is a steel frame structure, and the right side is a steel frame structure with V-shaped columns. Project location : Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Building area : 100,000 square meters Structural system : The stadium canopy of this project is a single-layer steel reticulated shell structure, the outermost diameter of the plane projection is 294.8m, the top opening diameter is 204m, the highest point is 55.8m, and the bottom is located on a concrete ring beam with an elevation of 15.9m, 0~15.9m It is a concrete V-shaped inclined column. The single-layer shell adopts a triangular mesh, the main profile is a round tube, and the main material is Q355B and Q420C. Project status : under construction
